Mission Statement: The Office of the Treasurer/Tax Collector is responsible for all cash management activities of the City of Methuen, including collection of all taxes, investment of all City funds and disbursement of all accounts payable and payroll funds. Our Customer Service Center in City Hall allows you to pay your bills at one convenient location on the first floor, Room 112.

Passport Notice: Effective November 1, 2011, the City of Methuen will process passport applications by appointment only, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2pm-4pm. For appointments, call Linda Lee at 978-983-8520. 

Cash Payments No Longer Accepted: As of August 1, 2010, cash payments will no longer be accepted at the Searles Building (City Hall) or the Quinn Building (City Offices). Checks only will be accepted. Credit or debit card payments can be made via the Online Bill Payment links at www.cityofmethuen.net
