NEW BUSINESS APPROVED:              

S & M Liquor, Inc., dba/Arlington Liquors – Helder J.  Sousa - 45/47 Broadway applying for transfer of an all alcohol package store license from Arlington Liquors – John Silva. Mr. Chairman asked if there was anyone to speak in favor of the transfer with response from Atty. George Theodorus, Merrimack St., Lowell, MA.  Atty. Theodorus is representing Mr. Sousa and the transfer.  Atty. Theodours offered that the perspective owners have signed up to become tip certified.  They understand the responsibility of owning a package store. Mr. Chairman asked if there was anyone else here concerning the transfer with reponse from Linda Soucy of the Arlington District.  Ms. Soucy asked if everyone could keep the communication lines open. Mr. MacLeod offered how they are a close knit community. Atty. Theodorus said that he has advised them that the owner is responsible always.Mr. Silva, seller, said he will be there for a few weeks.  He is family and will be there until they become familiar.Mr. Piemonte motioned to approve. Mr. MacLeod seconded the motion. All in favor.APPROVED:              

VDT LLC, dba/Mi Mexico Lindo – Francisco Villalba 5 Pleasant St. applying for an entertainment license.Mr. Chairman asked if anyone was here to speak for Mi Mexico Lindo.Mr. Villalba represented himself.  He said he would like to do keoroke and also has 3 tv’s and recorded music.Mr. MacLeod motioned to approve the license.Mr. Piemonte seconded the motion.All in favor.APPROVED:
